GDPR
Changes to Data Protection Law
In May 2018 the rules around data protection changed. The 'General Data Protection Regulation' (GDPR) changed how we use personal data and keep it safe, whilst strengthening the rights of Parents/Carers over their personal data.
The point of this is to make sure sensitive or private information about Parents/Carers and children stay safe. Whilst it is similar to the current Data Protection Act in many ways, there are a few differences, so we have made a few changes to ensure we remain compliant.
One of these changes is that we have updated our privacy notice (as listed below).
As part of our work to comply with GDPR, we will also seek consent from Parents and Carers for using photographs or videos on our website. internal displays etc. these permissions are provided upon completion of our admission form.
If you have any questions about how GDPR affects you please contact the school office.
